The TEKKEN series holds the record for the longest-running storyline in video games. This new addition focuses on the father-son conflict between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. This latest saga begins with Jin Kazama's encounter with Kazuya Mishima in an epic showdown that will shake the city.

TEKKEN 8 introduces new gameplay mechanics called the "Heat System," allowing players to leverage aggression as a strategy and incorporate aggressive attacks into their playstyle, with special moves and enhancement of character abilities based on each character's unique features.
